Hey there!
I don't usually do this, but I've decided to offer some pre-holiday mini sessions next month. Check it out:
So what do you think? Want to give it a try? Check out the FAQs to get answers to some of the questions you may have. If I've missed anything, just give me a call!
FAQs:
How many mini sessions are you offering and at what times?
There will be six appointments available on November 16th: 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.
Would it be weird if my boyfriend and I wanted to do a mini session just for us? What if I just wanted to come alone and have a BYO confetti party for one in my session?
DO IT! To be honest, couples and individuals are my most favorite clients. I'm for it.
Can I bring the dog?
Absolutely! I'd love it if you did. Heck, bring the cat and iguana too!
What if I can't do it that day or if you're already booked up?
If these six sessions get booked up and it looks like more people would like sessions, I will absolutely add another day (probably the following Saturday)!
How many photos will I see? How can I purchase products or digital photographs?
I will present approximately five fully edited proofs at the photo premier. Right before the shoot, we’ll chat about what you had in mind and which products best compliment your ideas. You’ll have an opportunity to pick everything out and make final decisions at the photo premier appointment.
Just so you know, archival traditional photographic prints mounted on mat board begin at $65. Finished wall art starts at $200. These finished pieces are available in a variety of materials, are fully archival and acid-free, produced at one of the country’s top professional labs, undergo a round of test prints to ensure optimal color accuracy prior to final production, are completely ready-to-hang, include free delivery, and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. In addition, as a special mini session perk, you'll receive 25 press-printed flat holiday cards with envelopes with any finished piece of wall art that you order. A digital photographic file of the photo you ordered is always complementary with your piece of finished wall art. Individual digital photographs are $150 each.
Are you going to have reindeer antler headbands, hay bails, plastic snowmen, or other seasonal props?
Heck no. That's not how I operate. I'm interested in telling the story of YOU, and to me generic props don't facilitate that process. If, however, you just feel like there can never be enough snowflake confetti in the world and you absolutely need to have some because you're known for impromptu snowflake confetti battles for the entire month of December, then for heaven's sake, bring it! Because that's part of who you are. :)
What should we wear?
I am a strong believer in wearing what you feel is representative of you. If you show up in matching khakis and white shirts, I'm going to send you home to change. Most of my clients tend to wear a cute dress or jeans and a nice shirt. Layers are good if you think you might want to change up your look a little bit during the session.
Dude. I'm in. How do we book?
Awesome. Step one is call me (352-256-6842). We'll set up time for your session on the 16th and photo premier appointment for the following week, and then you'll place a 50% retainer to hold your session time. After that, I'll send over some paperwork to give you all the information you'll need for the session and a brief questionnaire so I can get to know you a little bit. We'll touch base on the Thursday before the session to make sure that we’re all set to go for Saturday the 16th.
I'm feeling like I might want more than what you offer here in a mini session, what other options do you have?
If you're a couple or an individual looking for a little bit more, perhaps my standard portrait session might be the best answer for you. It includes a full pre-consultation meeting (usually over coffee or dinner somewhere, my treat) where we will have an opportunity to really get to know each other, the session itself (about two hours) in the location of your choosing (at your home, kayaking at the springs, on a farm, in the woods, let's get creative!), a premier of your photos on the big screen complete with beverages and treats, a slideshow of your photos, guidance in selecting your favorites and how you'd like to utilize them in the display of your story, $50 toward your purchase of product, and unlimited question-answering!
If you have kids, a ‘Day In The Life’ session is probably the best choice for you. You basically get all that is included in a standard session plus a bit more time and an album pre-design to help tell the story of your family. For me, posed photographs don’t come close to showing who your family is and how you interact, what I’d like to do instead is spend an entire morning with you to document the goings-on of your family’s life together and tell the story of that little slice of life in an album.

Spread the love! If you think this is neat, share it on the Facebooks!
